Our FAQ's answer some of those “Oh so important” questions so that you can have more information and peace of mind before meeting with us.
Is Hiring a Wedding Planner/Event Planner worth it?
Absolutely! Many people assume that hiring an event planner means wasted money, but Clearly Classy Events prides itself on providing quality service in events. By having us there by your side to manage all the details of your events, it will save you time, stress and money in the long run.
Can you name the best and most original locations in your area? Are you familiar with the best florists, photographers, caterers, bands, and deejays in my price range?
We have an extensive list of professional wedding vendors at varying price ranges at our fingertips. This list is constantly being updated and we only refer people who consistently deliver high quality service and products. We do not suggest simply doing a Google search to find your wedding vendors, since in our experience; the best and most reputable vendors are often not on the first few pages. Many also do not advertise in magazines or at bridal shows.
Will you commit to my wedding budget and not push me in the direction of things I simply can't afford or don't want?
We understand that each client has a different amount they are comfortable spending on their wedding and we are committed to working within the financial boundaries you set. We base our referrals, ideas, and suggestions based on your budget and the desired outcome of your wedding.
What is the difference between a wedding planner and a venue/reception site coordinator?
A reception site coordinate operates a business, and their responsibilities start and stop at the door of the venue/reception site. A wedding planner represents your specific needs and wants. We are the direct contact between you and all your vendors not just the venue/reception site. However, we appreciate and value venue/reception site coordinators. Simply put, they provide a different function than a wedding planner.
Will you be present at my wedding rehearsal? How many hours are you on site the day of the wedding or event?
Yes. We will direct your wedding rehearsal in collaboration along with your officiate. On the wedding day we will arrive as early as needed to set up all items, ensure we meet the very first vendor delivering or setting up to the last, and will stay to ensure all clean up has been taken care of and vendors items are squared away for pickup. A couple of weeks prior to your wedding, you will get an in-depth wedding timeline which will outline what time we will be arriving.
Many event planners only work with exclusive vendors. If I hire Clearly Classy, does that mean that I can’t use the ideas and vendors that I already had in mind?
While Clearly Classy Events has a list of esteemed vendors, we have no problem with working with the ones that you already have in mind.
Will I be active in the planning of my event?
Of course. A wedding consultant acts as a team member and confidant to assist you in planning the perfect event. In your initial meeting, you can communicate the level of participation you wish to have in the process.
For the day of the wedding, will you be willing to oversee the entire event by supervising vendors, troubleshooting emergencies, and soothing nerves?
Absolutely! Our job is to allow you to relax on your day. We will serve as a liaison between you and vendors and handle all the details of making your wedding day run smoothly. We are calm, flexible and roll with the punches.
When is it too late to hire a day of coordinator?
It is never too late for Clearly Classy Events to be your day of coordinator as long as we have the availability!
