The Austin Chapter of The International Special Events Society (ISES) put their own spin on speed-dating with their most recent networking event. Guests had a race against the clock to keep each conversation under 2 minutes.

We couldn't make it to the beach.... so we brought the beach to Austin!
Complete with bold striped table cloths and palm trees, guests were welcomed to the boardwalk with a nautical feel designed by Clearly Classy Events. Members enjoyed warm candle light on one very long table with gorgeous greenery.
Whim Event Rentals knocked this one out of the park with the amazing, unique flooring and rentals!
Whim Florals supplied elegant centerpieces that tied the look together perfectly. What's a boardwalk without a few knock-out floral arrangements?! ;).
To add to the exciting boardwalk theme, The Inviting Pear crafted stunning and unique programs for all ISES Members.
A mouth-watering breakfast was provided by Austin Convention Center catering, including mimosas and praline bacon, YUM. A full coffee bar was also set up to keep guests caffeinated and chatty. We can never have too much coffee!
String lighting provided by Ilios Lighting Design hung overhead, giving a true feeling of strolling on the boardwalk and breathing in the ocean air. All we were missing was a Ferris Wheel in the perfect venue of Palmer Events Center. =).
Ilios Lighting Design also provided great audiovisual equipment with a phenomenal projection screen, allowing everyone to communicate effectively - which is what it's all about, right?!
All ISES members were really enjoying the networking twist, and it definitely created "sparks" with one another! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
