The theme of sustainability dazzled bright through Ann and Cody Green's Wedding, making it one of the most unique and creative yet! They wished to look back upon their eco-chic wedding day and know that they had an impact on maximizing the social well-being by supporting local businesses and artisans, while being mindful of and decreasing the impact their event had on the environment, without taking away any of the elegance and style of the wedding itself!

Ann and Cody's wedding was themed around all things "green." Her main focus throughout each vendor selection was to obtain the most sustainable items. All invitations, programs, and day-of stationary were printed on 100% recyclable paper by our gal Shannon at The Inviting Pear. Ann's dress was selected through a consignment shop, which she in turn donated after her wedding day.
With each detail, they not only wanted the look of "green" with an earthy, enchanted forest feel, but the quality of "green" too! The bridal attire was selected through the finest of vintage shops in the area. Eco Chic Floral selected composted all plant material and donated all floral items to a local charity after the event.
Tucked away in Dripping Springs, Texas, the lake-view ceremony at Ma Maison, hidden amongst the trees, allowed our couple to dive deep into the elegance of the nature and their enchanted forest.
The smilax draping through the center aisle chairs and earthy aisle runner filled deep with fall colors added to their "green" decor.
Ann and Cody were thrilled to have a sneak peek into the reception area before anyone else! The interior hall of the venue was strung high with chandeliers, while long farm tables with moss runners and low floral arrangements filled the room, and a few blush linen round tables danced in the mix.
Simon Lee Bakery crafted a beautiful cake of USDA-certified organic ingredients to keep with the couple's wishes of sustainability.
Dinner was based on sustainability as well! Crave Catering selected the majority of their items for the cocktail hour and dinner that were locally sourced and organically grown, and any left over food was composted on the property.
Guests danced the night away to the sounds of Will Taylor and Strings Attached. Between the dancing and the laughter it was time to end the night with Ann and Cody's grand exit through a shower of flower petals.
