Meet Laura, the epitome of class and style!

Our Classy image would lack luster if we didn’t have our own modern day Audrey Hepburn to keep shop running flawlessly!

Our lead coordinator, Laura Neiman, received her Undergraduate degree in Public Relations at Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas. In May, Laura will be graduating with her MBA from St Edward’s. Laura has been with Cleary Classy for the past 4 years, 2 of which she has held the title of lead coordinator. Laura’s work is focused on bringing in clients and planning every last detail of our brides’ big day!

Laura loves fashion and enjoys traveling. When hanging out at home, she loves playing with her King Charles Cavalier puppy, Abby. She is always up for a good adventure, preferably one that includes the right food and a good glass of champagne.

When it comes to beauty, one of her favorite finds is a loving couple, eating alone and enjoying each other’s company, during the happy hour which immediately follows the big ceremony. This exact moment gives the couple time to relax after the big “I do.” It grants the couple serenity, and gives them time to be alone, as one, in this pivotal time of their live. The couple is finally unified, and this is the first romantic moment of their new life together.

As far as color palettes go, Laura loves pastels. She finds beauty in candelabras and chandeliers, which tie back into her classic style. When it comes to lighting, Laura says it changes everything, “I think lighting is the best investment a couple can make, it makes a space look totally different!”

As mentioned before, Laura loves to travel! She has been to Europe, and goes to Aspen and Palm Beach every year. She absolutely LOVES skiing and the snow, so when in Aspen, this is one of her favorite pastimes. Her traveling also takes place on a local level. Spending time with her family is a main priority, and any day can be made better with an Austin adventure, preferably including some good food from a local hot-spot!

One of Laura’s favorite quotes comes from her father, who has been fighting Multiple Myeloma Cancer for three years,

“Never look behind, there are better days ahead.”

Meaning no matter what you are going through, your life is going to continue and there are happy days ahead of you.

Our Belle of Blog

Once upon a time, there was a bloggess, Brittany Kelly
and her story with Clearly Classy Events is much like that of Cinderella!

Brittany is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Media and Communications.
During the middle of her internship for Clearly Classy, she became our Bloggess. Thanks to Clearly Classy, Britt found the “shoe-that-fit” writing the fairytale stories of our wonderful brides.

When she is not blogging, she enjoys traveling, photography, going to the movies with friends, and spending time with family.

Just like Cinderella, Brittany believes personality is in the shoes!

If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.

Our Modern Day Goddess

Aphrodite may have been the Ancient Greek Goddess of love and beauty,

but our new Social Media Goddess, Taylor Kraft, would put Aphrodite to shame.

Taylor is one of the newest darlings at Clearly Classy and majoring in Fashion Merchandising at Texas State University. Go Bobcats!
She currently handles all of our internet marketing and communications.

Taylor has an eye for details like that of the ancient Greeks. She finds beauty in fashion, art, flowers, and anything else that adds a personal touch to each wedding.

When Taylor is not keeping our Clearly Classy fans up-to-date on Facebook, Google +, Pinterest, and Twitter,
she loves cooking, shopping, arts and crafts, going out with friends, keeping up with current events, and spending quality time with her loving family and dog, Lola.

“But if you never try you’ll never know just what you’re worth.”

“Kicking” Off the New Year

All of our weddings are as unique as our couples, however once in a while we get a wedding that is sure to KICK it up a notch!
Kim and Austin were just the couple to do so, and Clearly Classy was so happy to have been a part of their day.

Christa Isom Photography captured this “once-upon-a-lifetime” wedding, and we are pleased to share:

What is first on every bride’s list of wedding day preparation? Make-up and hair!
With Makeup by Marie Lynn and Hair by Brandi Lisenbe,
Kim was able to show off her bridal glow from early morning pictures til the evening send off. Before the ceremony began, Kim and her bridal party took full advantage of the Hideout’s beautiful scenery.

While Austin and his groomsmen took full advantage of the Hideout’s awesome playground…

Disclaimer: no groom was hurt in the making of these photos!

If you want to see the Texas hill country at it’s best, just add a touch of the Hideout and a lot of love from a wonderful couple.

Thanks to “To Have and Hold” decorations, the reception showed off the unique style of the couple.

Kim and Austin enjoying the mouth-watering meal catered by Rudy’s BBQ.

Our favorite piece of the reception collection you ask? The thumbprint tree guest book!

Sweet Bites by Lizzie Alves created a yummy and simplistic cake that had every guest asking for seconds.

It’s not a party without a few Aggies! This was one bunch that raised some “hullabaloo” and then some…

So, you’re probably wondering what the twist to this fairy tale, outdoor, Texas wedding was…

Kim’s bridal kicks: All★Star!!!

Kim and Austin,

We want you to know how much fun and exciting it was to be a part of your special day.
With every detail captured, this jaw-dropping wedding will be one for the books.
We wish you the best from this day forward!

Yours truly,

Coming Soon to a Blog Near You…

Unfortunately Clearly Classy Events is not premiering in a new movie yet, however our team would be totally ready for red carpets, cameras, and a good time. Oh, and I call Josh Lucas as my leading man!

In reality, I am currently sitting around waiting on some fabulous pictures from our most recent wedding so that I may have the privilege to blog about it. Til then it’s back to my dream Hollywood story…

Now, directors would find it difficult to label the genre of a Clearly Classy Events movie since each lady of our team is as unique as each of our weddings and events. You’ll find we have a Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Freida Pinto, Rose McGowan, Amy Adams, Vivian Vance and Lucille Ball. Now one or two, I based merely on looks, but mostly it was each personality: life of the party, belle of the ball, sexy starlet, a legend in one’s own time… Or to put it simply, we are a romantic/bollywood/action/adventure/comedy with a hint of western AND together, Clearly Classy Events is an Oscar winning sensation!

We’d like to take this time to “thank” our readers and get to know you, so please vote on your favorite wedding movie. Unlike my college exams, this is multiple choice and there are no right or wrong answers. However, I do have a personal favorite, can you guess?

“Why do you wanna marry me anyhow?” “So I can kiss you anytime I want.” (Josh Lucas… swoon!)

Simple, Stunning, and Speechless

Have you ever witnessed a wedding that was so simple and stunning it literally left you speechless?

I can honestly say that is what happened today as I found myself working on a post for Clearly Classy Event‘s sweet couple: Lauren and Lance. After countless moments of just staring at their wedding pictures by Phillip Glickman and reminiscing, I finally found a little musical inspiration in “Marry Me” by Train.

Disclaimer:  the two did not meet in a café.

However, Lauren did wear a gorgeous white gown from Serendipity Bridal, and Lance was one happy groom who wore out the words “I love you and you’re beautiful.”

Barton Creek Resort and Spa was the venue of choice for Lauren and Lance, and was, like always, a joy to work with. The guests were able to arrive with an overwhelming view of true Texas hill country.

Again, I am captured by not only the photographer’s eye for detail, but the design of the dress and the overwhelming support from family and friends on her big day. Take notice of the simplicity in the bouquet from Verbena Floral that is jaw-dropping and coordinated so well with Lauren’s dress!

Enough of my “look at this!”, “take notice!”, and “did you see?”
Here are a few pictures from the ceremony:

After the ceremony, it was time for friends, family, and fun!

Lauren and Lance were able to entertain guests and keep to party alive with a help from their fabulous vendors: ILD Lighting, BBJ Linen StoreATX DJ, and of course, Maris Malone Calderon, whose art for makeup kept Lauren radiant throughout the entire night!

I would like to again give a big thank you again to Phillip Glickman Photography as well as all the other vendors mentioned and some that were not mentioned but had a great impact on the success of this wedding: Hyde Park Strings, Mike Rinehart, Richie Schalin with Ovation Media, and Samantha Denby.

Lauren and Lance,
we wish you all the best and hope that you will continue to be happy by each other’s side.

Love, Clearly Classy Events
